Blog post 7

My book is about a girl getting kidnapped (not a true story) but I can relate to this because one time my sister almost got kidnapped. Olivia was two years old and she ran outside due to my dad leaving the door wide open, I asked everyone where she was and they didn't know. When I went to look outside she was two blocks away from my house and I remember my neighbor leaving her two year old in the middle of the sidewalk to run and get my sister, i followed. My sister would've been gone if I hadn't made it outside on time.. that's scary to think about, this man was about to take my little sister and put her in the back of his car.

Blog post 4

"Why don't you just kill yourself? Someone at school asked me once. I think it was the kind of question intended to be cruel, but it was the first time I'd ever contemplated the possibility. I didn't know what to say. Maybe I was crazy to consider it, but I'd always hoped that if I were a good enough girl, if I did everything right, if I said the right things or said nothing at all- I thought they would finally listen when I tried to talk. I thought they would give me a chance. I thought they might finally love me.
I always had that stupid hope."
I choose this quote because it really stood out to me and made me think about a problem we have in society, bullying and it's effects. This quote reminded me of bullying because the first line, "Why don't you just kill yourself" is one of the many lines used when bullying others. This makes people think about actually killing themselves but that isn't what they should do because everyone's life is valued in this world. We were all born for a reason.
Life is precious, don't let others get to you because half of the time they bully because they are hurt themselves. Help them, to help you. .

Blog Post Three

1. Why didn't the controller break the rules, and help his daughter?
2. Why didn't little fearless stay out of the institution for good?
3. Why didn't stargazer escape with little fearless?
4. Why did the controller put little fearless in the dungeon, why couldn't he punish her a different way
5. Why are all the girls in the institution anyways? They didn't do anything wrong.
